Daniel has led a wide range of consultancy projects in mobile, fixed telecoms and media. His expertise includes the development of more than ten go-to-market strategies for fixed and mobile operators, focusing on product and pricing, MVNOs, customer segmentation and channel definition. He also has experience of commercial and marketing projects, and regulatory projects, both in Spain and Latin America.
Daniel is established in Mexico and he has led a wide range of assignments for Latin American regulators, companies and operators.
In the last two years, he has undertaken several regulatory projects for the Mexican regulator, IFT, including the assessment of the commercialisation or resale of the MVNOs’ service reference offer, as well as a wide range of marketing and commercial projects, including a pricing strategy definition for 3G and iDEN offers for Nextel Mexico and a predictive model for churn management for a cable company in Mexico. He also worked on MVNO services definition and pricing schemes for a Mexican mobile operator.
Prior to joining Analysys Mason, Daniel worked for ten years at Everis, where he developed cloud computing go-to-market strategies for the incumbent operators in Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Peru and Puerto Rico, and for a Spanish telecoms operator. He also undertook a commercial strategy definition and go-to-market IPTV strategy for ETB in Colombia and participated in the business plan definition of a Spanish MVNO.
Daniel has an MSc in Telecommunications Engineering (Deusto Bilbao, Spain) and an EMP MBA (Universidad de Deusto, Audencia Nantes and School of Management of Bradford).
